The Home Health Aide / CNA provides non-medical, in-home support and home management services to clients. He or she provides assistance with personal care, nutrition, exercises, ambulation, positioning, and transfers as directed and according to an established plan of care. Qualified CNA's may also provide some delegated nursing services as allowed by state regulations.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED at a minimum, additional training or education to achieve certification, is certified as a Nurse's Aide, and has some previous experience. In addition, he or she has a genuine desire to work with the elderly or disabled, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and current automobile insurance. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
