Duties and
Responsibilities:
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to support the design of new products per the Product Development Process Accountable for the team's implementation of product design from commencement through sustainment Collaborate with PMs to create/maintain accurate development schedules Ensure timely completion of all deliverables and tasks Manage the Engineering team to ensure priority projects are properly staffed and resourced.
Manage the Engineering team by product roadmap priorities Develop project milestones, schedules, and project definitions with Project Management for large team projects.
Identify training needs and work with the Director of Research and Development to provide opportunities.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight as appropriate.
Perform annual performance reviews Propose annual merit pay increases for the Engineering Team based on performance.
Hold regular team and individual meetings (quarterly reviews) Participate in Annual Strategic Planning.
Aid in the creation of the annual R&D budget Manage projects/purchases to the budget plus other assigned duties when neededRequirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Mechanical and Electrical strongly preferred A collaborative nature with strong leadership expertise Passion for developing individuals' talents 5
years of Engineering Manager experience 10 years of engineering experience in software, firmware, electrical, and/or mechanical (a relevant discipline) CAD proficiency (SolidWorks is preferred).
Schedule creation and management experience Design for manufacturing experience Product research and development experience Regulatory compliance (FCC, CE, etc.
) experience Strong Hands-on mechanical or machining experience.
Proficient with MS Office software.
Travel may be required Hybrid and Remote is not an option.

Salary:
$110,000 - $135,000 per year.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
